where the sky and horizon meet

Glowing moon,
mirrored by my eyes.
Shining sphere,
window of the skies.
Silvery creature
echoing through the tides.
Nature's wisdom,
Hidden within its mass.

Ya think?

nice feel to this one, smittenkitten, very nice

what's this form called...you have a rhyme pattern, then the last line departs from it, which seems to accentuate the point you're making with your statement

SmittenKitten~
I'm magnetically drawn to 'moon' poems.
Enjoyed your treatment of this tremendously.
