Written In Sadness

Jackie I miss you so much.
The way your face wore a sweet smile.
Your kiss never failed to drive me wild.
I truly wish you hadn't left me feeling this blue.
I write in sadness when my thoughts turn to you.
No one likes to get rejected.
At least no one I know.
So until feelings of love are perfected
I have to let you go.
I know the past is impossible to resurrect
and feelings that no longer exist become hard to detect.
Please understand that writing like this has become an acceptable way of dealing with my feelings.
I know not what else I can do.
All other options would seem to remain with you.
I write this as a testimony to your personality.
To have a woman win my heart so fast thrilled and amazed me.
Hope happiness has become your cup of tea.
Hope and desire were two gifts you granted me.
I remember being happy with you.
Wish you never left me Jackie.
You did what you had to do.

I know James, it surely does hurt. Keep pouring it out, after a while it will dull a little. I swear.
