Wait

Something’s not right
with the stars
alignment in discord
waves of dread
pass through my skin
chills like electric shock.
As a deer hearing an unfamiliar noise
I search my surroundings
all seems to be in place
yet the feeling is so strong
doom hides around a blind corner
it’s aura looms.
It’s hard to breathe as I realize
there’s nothing to do but wait.

Sounds like a nightmare, but we all go through that some time. Great poem of what I do most, wait. Thanks for sharing!
