Tell me, do you know what's going on? In the jungles of the Amazon? The rainforests are being destroyed -- This has me more than just annoyed It's time we showed them that we care. Of all the places on this earth, The South American jungle's given birth To species we'll never see If we don't end this tradgedy Afterall, we breathe the same air. Jungles of the Amazon Can you picture them all gone? We must save them while we can Afterall, it's all up to man... Everyday that we pass by More trees and animals die We must act before it's too late This problem can no longer wait... What type of world have we in store? Extinction means forever more. If we don't end this problem now, A dismal future we'll endow To our kids who'll wish we had tried. If nothing else, think with some respect To the problem of the green-house effect -- A serious thing we must face If we don't try to save this place This is something from which we can't hide. Jungles of the Amazon Can you picture them all gone? We must save them while we can Afterall, it's all up to man... Everyday that we pass by More trees and animals die We must act before it's too late This problem can no longer wait... Sauni, thank you for the read and reply. Some day, perhaps, man will understand the repercussion of his ways and conciously decide to change direction towards a more positve path for the benefit of all... -MVS "If you think you know it all, you have a lot to learn." |
