In dreams she found me
Told me I was just like Maude
(who’s Maude?)
my temperament matching
that of a woman
I don’t know
we walked in the house
steps I felt
I’d already taken
I knew my way……….
Each piece of furniture
Carried with it the smell of polish
Lemon clean
Fresh yet aged
Gently
The carpet felt
Like I’d walked on it
A thousand times before
So real to my soles
Or is it my soul?
She told me things
And showed me things
But she didn’t know
…….I didn’t know
She gave me
A memory of his

haunting.... to dream it and feel so like it is real or was....

nicely told SEA... perhaps there is more of a story than you think there... why not tell us the rest... ( smiling)
