Why do I polish my fingernails' ruby? and define my bottom lip with sultry wine Is it just for the reflection in the mirror? shattered glass upon which I dine How long will the woman in the mirror? Feel like a thirsty rose upon a vine I remember when your arms were around me we stepped into the mirror side by side you and I in the reflection of the mirror a shimmering diamond in my mind I felt vivacious, a youthful bride engraved in my memory like a cameo I loved you, my Jekyll and Hyde Should I toss this memory like a beanbag? and your mirage upon my pillow at night alone in the reflection of the mirror no longer a threesome within candlelight Every child is an artist. The challenge is to remain an artist once he grows up. |

this has a haunting quality to it Victoria. . . indeed like that "Jekyll and Hyde" idea. . . well done. . . -------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Vic, most extremely vivid. "Should I toss this memory like a beanbag? and your mirage upon my pillow at night alone in the reflection of the mirror no longer a threesome within candlelight" One of many parts I liked. The question of how long the woman in the mirror will feel like a rose dying on the vine. Also excellent. Wow. That is a darn good question at the end. What DO we do with the memory. File it away under "Oh well, I tried, I loved, it's over?" So hard. Sandra |

You polish your nails and define your lip for your future holds a sultry sip, toss the beanbag toward the mirror shine your light in the crags of fear. "Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve" |
