my heart shines for you
and you alone

in the darkness of your life
when it seems that
you’ll never know love again
my heart shines for you

through the storms of love
when it seems that
we’ve lost our way
my heart shines for you

across the miles of time
when it seems that
you’ll never see my face
my heart shines for you

in the darkness
through the storms
across the miles

my heart shines for you

and, in the same way

I know that
your heart
shines for me

Smooth and beautiful romantic poetry Sven!......

"in the darkness of your life
                 when it seems that
                 you’ll never know love again
                 my heart shines for you"

Sort of like a lighthouse or a beacon signifying security on the turbulent ocean of love!

good stuff as usual!

The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up
spaces of consciousness and resistance; to language oppressions; to
re-language historie

One might read this as coming from friend to friend....just in being there, believing, giving hope....

one just might read it that way....

Sven,
Hearts that shine so true and bright, will always be aglow as one, no matter how far the distance... A beautiful light to illuminate the soul.

Damn  I wish my husband could write or even say stuff like this to me.   oh wait,  that is for dating people.   once you are married it is ......."are you still here?"   Just kidding.   I liked this Sven.  It was sweet.
