                         Beautiful metaphoRs, fine simileS,
All in perfect iAmbic symmetriC rhyme.
                        Lively storieS quickening heArtbeats,
                         Lingering Calls and lovely Lines.
                         All messAges written so flAwless,
                         Deep, Lasting thoughtful Whys,
Each Love story is so fAultless,
EverY ballad yieldinG no dry eyes.
Respected by us all.   Even me!

Coming from Even You, I would say that this is a tribute....

or a eulogy, I haven't decided....

lovely things to say about a fellow poet..he should be proud to have such a tribute...

by the way,why in the world are so many letter in bold??? YOu surely did not mean this to be an acrostic with a hidden message... not after saying such wonderful things...

Are you worried that Balladeer is going to get even with you.
The cat fur is going to fly no matter how nice you try to be. He can read accrostics, at least I think he can.

To my good buddy LongJohn
Having you as my best friend
Always makes me feel proud
Now until the bitter end.
Kindness is your stock in trade
Sweet you are to not offend.

Take my strong appreciation
With you where your paths may wend
Into every situation
Trust in me to be your friend.

inot2B....I may not be able to spot acrostics but at least I can spell it!

Now, is it agnostic bitters, or acrostic bitters, that I must be ware of?

This was a terrific tribute LngJhn!  Beautiful work on the acrostic ... I've never tried a triple before like this ... this was excellent!  Much enjoyed!

Best wishes,
