Once upon a time you were in my heart brilliancy within my soul shadows within candlelight silhouettes upon an easel of a wall wrapped tightly in a candlelight shawl Violins within the music of your voice rainbows between your heart and mine shining into the caverns of my eyes unmasking . . . an unwilling disguise I fell in love and OH! how I fluttered like exotic wings of a butterfly Exotic fans in the wind danced a tango cheek to cheek was the wind and the sky swirling upon a translucent dance floor the skirt in the wind tangoed by translucent as sweet Spanish lime Our hearts danced, Once upon a time Every child is an artist. The challenge is to remain an artist once he grows up. Pablo Picasso [This message has been edited by Victoria (edited 07-02-2001).] |

Vic, this is wonderful. "We danced..once upon a time.."What a nostalgic and lonely feel, amidst beautiful images. Sandra |

lovely, lovely, lovely...I do have one tiny idea to make it just a shade more powerful, only if you're interested it is swaying and conveying of wondrous emotions and the dance |

Thank you Pat..so glad you enjoyed the tango. lone wolf ..thank you for peeking in today thank you sandra..nice to hear from you hugs james...yes i love the tango too thank you thank you Virginia..next time i will sway instead of swirl and flutter haa ..although i dont think there is too much swirling and swaying in a tango..although my heart was doing the fluttering. I changed the last line to OUR HEARTS DANCED as that is the feeling i was conveying in the poem..instead of We danced. i think that is better..actually i think i will change the title too..to Our hearts danced. Thank you for your considerate comments.. thank you irish rose..always nice to hear from you ..hugs sven..glad you enjoyed my tango... ~Victoria~ [This message has been edited by Victoria (edited 07-02-2001).] |
