A seventeen year friendship
Has been enjoyed by you and me
You are somewhat responsible
For this person I've come to be

Such confidence you gave me
In our very early days
I seemed to lack direction then
My life was like a maze

I met my future husband
Partly because of you
How my life had turned around
As a person I felt brand new

I treaure your gift of friendship
We've weathered the good and the bad
Thank you for all you've done for me
And for this wonderful friendship we've had

There is nothing better than a good friend, and if you can count the ones that really count on one hand, then you are fortunate indeed..Very nice tribute to your friend...gentle smile
