Lone Wolf, you must have inspired this one, Thank you..very gentle smile
----------------------------------------------------

The Poet

Tenderness fills your heart,
Consumed with thoughts of every sort.
Reaches out with gentle hands
Being one who understands.
Your every movement flows with grace.
Your soul reflects on your smiling face.

Nothing you say is anything but kind,
You seem to have the knack of reading minds.
When one is down, you say the right thing,
To bring them back with words that ring.
You stir the words in a mixture true,
Pouring them out to cure their blues.

To which poet this is for, I will not say,
For all of you seem to be this way.
I read your posts and reflect thereon,
As all of you sing your song.
Some are happy, some are deep, some tend to make you weep,
But all I’ve read,  you gentle poets, are worth the keep.

Thank all you wonderful people in poetry land
gentle smile

It's sometimes more pleasant to listen than it is to speak -- there is so much to learn, and in return, so much to pass on to others who may seek such wisdom or inspiration for themselves...  A true statement you have made in your poem, Logan...  may we all continue the cycle of sharing and caring.

Logan~
What truth your words hold.
So many times to be touched by and cradled in
the tender words of a poet here.
It's joy beyond compare.

How deep is our valley of love and understanding
when held tenderly in the thoughts of others.

they say in life that the more you give, the more you receive...that applies very well here also, which you have described very eloquently. May we all continue to give.....and receive
