Listening to every heart

From Him to Her Memory

I shall wind up the sale
then sail the wind
before mould hits the hare
let the breeze mold your hair
into sunblown laughter
skirting your cheeks

allow your cheeks to skirt
your dimples then
as you bend into the wind
and wind me ‘round your bend
as your laughter greets the sun
and the son waves you on
as waves break the shore

as yes, I’ll remember you
there, my lovely evermore

Hmmm... such an interesting play with words and their meanings. Wound into a thread...then woven into a cloth..

Yanno, Karilea - This poem reminds me of the time I tried to transport a cat in my car.  The poor critter meowed and went psycho, his hair sticking out in all directions at once.  Naturally, I wanted the kitty to be comfortable, so I gently picked him up by the scruff of his neck, and, at 60 mph, held him out in the whistling wind as the semis blew past.  *sighhh*   I miss those road trips.   (Just kidding, so please don't tell Pandora that recidivism has struck me low - OK?)
