Listening to every heart

When Voices Speak

when Voices speak, I listen, true
for they hold words, of you, and you
and soon a treasure we will own
words will follow, as they are shown

in black and white, or blue on blue
all shall hold words of  ~ you ~ and ~ you ~
it will be mine, your treasures, true
to last me, then, my through and through

ah, Voices…they shall come and soon
for I’ve heard them in pale of moon
I’ve felt them in the voice of tears
and reminisced them through the years

voices, soon, they will come, at last
bring the past, and then hold, us, fast

Thank you...as this was written, I saw that I was not only referring to one "voice" but several...and then of course, there will be the book....

so glad you all enjoyed!

Karilea~
Beautifully written ... a lovely read.

LOL @ Voices, soon ...
You sure Ron didn't write this ?
Is this one of those 'clue' things ?????

Kethry...it just happened to all tie in together with my mood...those voices that tell us to write, write, write, and the fact that one day, we shall all hold Voices in our hand, a permanent reminder that we all came together in unison to lift our...voices!

Sunshine, your poem feels like a gentle welcome, telling me to write.  To be a voice, to listen to the voices, to be a part of it all.  This was a wonderful read

ah, the voices speak
shall we listen and heed them
if we care we will

There truly are many voices to be heard.  Perhaps if we all stopped and took the time to listen, the world would be a better place.  Nice write.

I wish I had the time to listen to my Little Voices more often than I do these days ... but I have so much to do lately, I feel guilty just taking the time to read such lovely writing ... I try to sit up some nights, to write a little something, but just fall asleep in the chair ... oh well ... Life Cycles ... I hope

interesting write... the idea of voices being not only what we write or speak but the ones around us as well... we are a cumulative voice... the culmination of all we hear and have said..wrapped between bound pages... hmmm...

Voices

Speak no less
of now
than they do
of yesterday
still this
edition
is is being
edited
while we
read
