Too Late, Too Gone You were heaven of heart awash over soul, a beckoned rose blooming dying in repose, these eyes fell blind drifted out to sea until you vanished in amnesia of memory, but, I guess it's true in introspection of blue I'm just too late... slave to pendulum of taunt you're too long gone in the hands of haunt, and I always wonder why lovers come and never stay why they promise forever yet, are forced to stray perhaps I'm the one who is to blame I always seem to drown love's breath in pain, I'm just too late and you're too long gone in love with her - her sparrow of song, but, how can it be in weep of loss of sanity, I no longer call for you I find myself missing me By Melissa P. missing ourselves....can be taken ... they were so much of us that we now find we are no more the things we were and miss those.. I enjoyed the poem... though sad in theme It speaks to loss and to the refinding of ourselves again or the beginning of the search for ourself... I think perhaps..I'll have to read again.. which will be my pleasure... |

Missing yourself due to another? Hmmmm. I enjoyed the read and understood the premise presented as it was. Write us more, please. |

Reflections of pain and anguish of love but well written..... "you're too long gone in love with her - her sparrow of song, but, how can it be in weep of loss of sanity, I no longer call for you I find myself missing me" I like those lines as they seem to be the start of coming out of the pain...... nicely done! |

Very well written. I truly love what it is you are saying. I hope you find yourself, and perhaps a long-life lover. "We also know how cruel the truth often is, and we wonder whether delusion is not more consoling."- Henri Poincare (1854-1912) |

So much truth in your words... I loved every line Take of yourself until yourself returns {{{{{HUGZ}}}}}} Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer. |
