We met one night when the moon shone purty
ya winked at me and got real flirty
two weeks later we was with Elvis Presley
bein united in holy matrimony.

Ya bought me a washer and a dryer too
and even paw said i cain't go wrong with you
I did yer dishes and I fixed yer meals
it has to be how cinderella feels.

But ya got a new job and aint never home
and when we go out yer eyes start to roam.
The children all wonder where Daddy gone
