Moon Sailing By: Noah Eaton 6/14/01 Hold me now, in thine wings of gauze Together we shall go moon-sailing, embarking on a lunar honeymoon Hold me close, I’ll carry you high among the stars Toss your hair about, sprinkle your love about, hum a merry tune Gambol upon the milky way and leap into my arms Slip on your toe shoes and let’s have this dance Swing with me in this minuet of a million satellites Glissading ballet in this epic of romance Dive further into this velvet sea with me Skipping through this angel food cake riveria, beneath crystal parasols Kites of suede titter in the comet rain, lighting your face Clouds of turtle doves adorn you and you wear them so well as you make your graceful waltz I watch Venus blush in the distance when you are near Sit with me in this cosmic sauna, tanning under these florid bing cherry skies And I’ll massage your soft skin here in these swooning springs Soothing your body with your greatest dreams…you find reflecting from my eyes I’ll make love to you forever, time slowing with us embraced Watching your fingers slide down my body, my atmosphere becomes so clear from here You wear your starry ring I gave you, winking as I kiss you Fondling you with my heart, watching your eyes shimmer so clear If there is a diamond in my skies That gorgeous gift is you You are what makes my sun shine everyday You are what paints my skies as blue as Neptune Second star to the right and straight on through the morning In your eyes, I see such this special place Now let me hold you, my love, and I’ll show you your dreams Let’s go moon sailing tonight, our trip shall begin in one spellbinding gaze |
