It doesn't seem quite fair to long for and keep loving someone who just hurts us, does it? Great poem. |

Thank you, all, for reading and commenting! I do need to say that, yes I often put on dark glasses when I wish to conceal tears. The remainder of the poem, however, is contrived. I, thank the Lord, have not ever been in a physically abusive relationship. However, I now that this scenario occurs for far too many people. I tell you this so you won't be concerned for me and will save your prayers in this regard for those in extreme need. |
