Can a simple nature accuse My holding as being obscured That which falls to our hands The silent failures we capture Of rain that springs upon us Whispering our fears to the for Letting our anger fail its course So we may touch heavens eyes. What false pretense is this That fails my second breath? Willing me to make a mockery Of the hate that I have made Content to harvest the soul That I found beneath my blood That scours my hearts favored sin So I can lay down and rest. |

...letting our anger fail its course.... that, my dear poet, should happen more often... Well done! |
