“RAINY THOUGHTS” by Bill Charles ~~~~ Rain I always thought, fell from the skies, not from someone loving, or from my eyes... Love to share, or share to love, but it seems, thoughts and words, killed my dreams... And when they were gone, never to come back, hell could freeze over, but I'll always lack… The warmth of my being, for it died over time, just like pouring out a bottle, of very good wine… Don't think that words alone, can't do it, for you're sadly mistaken, you will take a hit... A warm heart over time, will change to ice, and it won't matter if seven, or eleven, comes up on the dice… ~~~~ |

I don't know whether to call for Little Orphan Annie or Annie Oakley, but I guess the former as I'd rather hope: "The Sun'll come out, tomorrow!" I hope your 'rainey thoughts' end up watering your garden to beautiful blossoms! Your poem is extremely powerful! |
