You are emerald and I am the sapphire we are turquoise, chemistry within the sea I feel blue, withered blue, without you paint me emerald, paint me turquoise with love. We make love within the bed of the ocean our kisses swirl in sheets of ivory sands I am mystic pink, You are lobster red we blend secretly within the coral reefs I am the froth within waves of contentment you are the salt lingering upon my lips we are the bouquet within shoals of night intoxicating, seducing, each other I am your loofah, let me bathe you in the tides Forever basking in the reflection of pharos light. Victoria you always seem to fill many of your poems with vibrant colors...this is no exception....beautifully written I was wondering about loofah and Webster's Dict tells me.." a sponge consisting of the fiborus skeleton of a gourd"......very interesting! |
