Encrypted Stylized forms saying Nothing from mouth But volumes from eyes That stare at the world With glaze, Tongue sharp And sheathed barely In politeness. Enlightened, I read Read of Once upon a time dreams And always upon a day truths Sharp edged memories That still cut Dulled pains That still ache The smile belies The Sphinx faced strength Hidden behind Those encrypted eyes |

I would think that there are many who reside behind the Egyptian eyes of the Sphinx, watching... learning... and listening to the wind. |
