We sat together, Only our outer Thighs touching Through layers Of clothing Put there to protect Our defenseless Senses… You didn’t know me And I imagined I knew you, as we Shared the ride From airport to Hotel The ride was short, Made shorter by What I imagined About us… Quiet looks… Gentle touches… The heat in Pealing off Layers of Pretense… When we pulled Into the circular drive Lit with yellow orange Light that flattered Nothing, I almost Spoke…. Almost… But you turned And walked quickly To the front desk Without a glance My way…. I waited till you Were through And tried to stand In the space that Still contained The scent of you… Hoping to take at Least that essence To bed with me. |

There are those moments in life, where you see hope in the form of a walking miracle, and images such as this exist. This is excellent. |

You've captured this moment so very well... whether fleeting fancy or missed opportunity is left for wonder. *S* I like this a lot! *S* |

And tried to stand In the space that Still contained The scent of you… =================== You have described this so well....... Captured me within the scene you've presented........ I wonder now if I'd ever get through such a scene myself...... Thank you Ron..... ******************************* It's only me.......only me |
