Hair of childhood blond, turning to auburn tresses
Ready to question but of own mind addresses
Hiding what you knew, deep inside
Childhood friends walked beside
No one could see them, only you
Certainly not teachers at your school

A princess you were, Huck Finn too,
The many times you wore actress shoes
All the times you played the game
When always you knew you were not the same
You listened to a different drummers tune
Until you followed it  all so soon

Sickness took many a thing
But in reality, you only did gain
You chased the will-o-wisp in your seek
Til finally, a mission you did keep
Thirty three years in our hearts
Always to stay until final part

Even then, “giving you a wink”
Still being around, if only in ink
Knowing the beliefs we always shared
Very apparent we always cared
This day is yours, even being apart
You always were a dear sweetheart

So happy birthday to you, dear love
You ever did, come push or shove
Always so proud of you, we be
Even at times that you did not see
If you continue to do as you have done
You will have earned a place within the sun.

Happy Birthday, Becka , from the heart

Sweet One. I am sure that this Birthday wish will be well received. It is beautifully and fondly done.   ((Hugs)) I think I have some reading to catch up on.

For some reason this really brings tears to me. Beautiful. Sad to me, though.

Thank all of you wonderful people for sharing this birthday with me. My children are all very special to me and your kind thoughts and all your wishes will stay with me in that special place I keep dear. Ahh, this time, I, gentle smile, don't have the words to thank you adequately, so I will just say Thank You with hugs and love
