Who can claim that he knows
The boundaries of the heart
That he can draw them clearly
And put marks where they end?

Are our hearts some alien forests
We know their ends
When trees seize to exist
And grass is plenty?

Are they some far away mountains?
We know we have conquered
When we stand upon their peaks?

Are our hearts some springs,
We know their tastes
When we feel their waters
Rushing to satisfy our thirst
And cool our fire?

Pondering, dreaming
And truly mystified by our hearts
Their leaping
Their pounding
Their joys and sorrows
We can only claim
That we know their boundaries
If we can only know the boundaries
Of our fairly lands
The depths of the mysteries that lay within,
The weight of every stone of the castles
We build there,
The height of their battlements,
The distinctive features of the knights
that roam it,
The beauty of the princesses of the land
And the wisdom of the words
Uttered upon that ground

If we knew all that
Only then we can proudly
Pick up our brush
And draw the boundaries
Of our hearts
But their passages
Will remain a mystery.
