*Revised from Open #6

Listen. . . can you hear it?
Floating through the air like a leaf?
A song so wonderful, sweeter than a dove's
A song so quiet, that it can only be heard
                 with a heart of love.
Can you hear it?

Listen. . . can you see it?
Filling the sky like the arc of a rainbow?
A song so colorful, so much love does it hold
A song so rare, rarer still than the
                 pot of brilliant gold.
Can you see it?

Listen. . . can you feel it?
Tracing your cheek like a strand of silk?
A song so touching, so light and so fine
A song so exquisite, for you and you alone
singing that I'll love you for all time.
Can you feel it?

So should there ever come a day
That you need my love and I am away
Go and whisper to the wind soft and low
I will hear your voice and whisper back,
                 "I know my love. . . I know. . ."

I will hear your voice and whisper back,
                 "I know my love. . . I know. . ."

well, I know.......and you know that this is just wonderful.....
Flowing softly like a breeze......

It's only me.......only me
I hope that would suffice eternally
