It's so hard to sit back
and wait
and watch
to see
just what you'll do
with your life without me.
It seemed so easy
for you to walk away
I still tremble,
you see,
remembering the hate
in your eyes
for me.
I've never been good
at letting go
So many times
I told  you so.
You knew taking
your love away
was enough to destroy
me some day.
