The window is blind. No voices within. No laughter inviting the man to come in. The frame of the window is burdened with snow. The glass has been chained. And nowhere to go. The fetters of frost. A permanent seal. My sorrow is one that no-one will heal. The scratches have crossed the eyes of the house. A permanent dream. No voice to arouse. The windows were shining and glowing within, The laughter and singing of children and kin, The moon on the brow of flickering snow, The flakes on the moon continue to glow, Of loving and living a conjugal seal, No secret to hide, no foe to reveal, A wonderful sight of wonderful house, The window was clear. No water to douse. |

what a contrast between hope and hopelessness. Very good. "As I stumble through this life, help me to create more laughter than tears." |

This one spoke with images and made me shiver. I know..sounds silly, but I'm feeling something from reading this. I love it. |
