As I am feeling lonely and just a little blue
my mind automatically reaches for you.

It's not desperation nor discouragement I feel;
only the need to be alive and real.

It's been a while in coming
I'd thought I'd never see
another time when someone could
reach out and stir in me...

Feelings never forgotten
only locked securely away...
always with that touch of hope
someone would use that key someday;
the key
that comes from understanding
and giving of oneself
to make me believe once again
there just might be
someone out there
'specially for me.

You've given me hope for my shattered dreams
and claimed a place of highest esteem.
How can I thank you...how could you know
how precious your presence
in my heart and soul!!!
