Till that day the hazel light Dims in this soul's leaded panes, When the corpus retreats to night Past the reach of all worldly pain, When this heart and it's trusted might Starves it's blood from the hungry vein, Till the grim reaper's final smite Leaves the physical person slain. Till the hour my spirit takes flight And what's left melds to changing terrain, When I'm given my final rite O'er the shell of my earthly remains, I'll ascend through the tunnel of white For I pray this is preordained, Time spent here was always finite, There's an end to vitalities reign. Till that moment I'll cast the Lovelite, Till that instant I'll strive to maintain, In your heart a passion ignites, In this life we a rapture attain, Offered words would desire incite And the ring of the truth they contain, C'est L'amour d'ici that I write, It's my song but it needs your refrain. |

Thank you all very much. I'm almost embarrassed by the wealth of talent and acceptance I'm finding here. |
