Images of Time Looking back in time and space I only see my future face For all that was and came before Would shape forever spirit’s core Gazing toward tomorrow’s dreams I see the distant past, it seems For all I wish and hope to see Is just the child I used to be Reflecting in the mirror’s glaze The days to come are but a haze Deep in the shadows of its cast Dwell wisdom’s future, beauty’s past For time itself does not exist It’s just perception’s slanted twist The present moment is the beam To light your life and live the dream Elizabeth Santos [This message has been edited by Elizabeth Santos (edited 05-22-2001).] |

I'm left here thinking that you are so right, the moment is what we have, and making the best of each and every moment is what makes are future bright. |

Liz, This is such good writing, my friend, and so introspective. Do you really want to be a child again, or would you rather look at the future, knowing that there are still dreams yet to seek and touch? This was wonderful and I thank you for sharing this piece. Michael Proust- |

Hi Liz, I haven't talked to you in a while. My wife found this one while trying to send someone a card. She printed it but couldn't remember who wrote it. I read it and your name immediately came to mind. Well, I finally searched and found it and sure enough it was yours. This is just great. I love it. And I knew it had to be yours. Thanks, Pete |

Living for the moment, I love your perspective and thoughts you've provoked with this one. Very nicely done. |
