The grandfather clock ticks behind us As the rain falls so heavily outside It's in the front of the roaring fire Where you and I now reside Like a log that burns brightly in the fire So does my love burn for you As we sit cosily in front of the fire There's so much in this warmth we could do Our bodies glow in profile from the firelight You put my hair back behind my ears Then you tenderly put your arms around me And draw my body towards you so near The wine is the color of rubies In the crystal glass I hold in my hand As you reach down and take my hand in yours And together as one we both stand You take my face in your hands and you kiss me I suddenly feel so very weak at the knees Our passisons without a match are ignited As we are both so eager to please Our bare feet sink seductively into the sheepskin The place where our love will succumb This is the place where our bodies will join And we two will so soon become one Suetang |

Wow, I enjoyed this poem very much. Your descriptions made the poem very realistic. |
