If you've ever gazed
at a full harvest moon...
If you've ever listened
to a sweet lovely tune...
Then I can tell you
and you'll be sure to see
what happened the night
you stole my heart from me.

For the moon in all its splendor
suspended from above
even on the brightest night
cannot compare
to the warm soft light
shared
in a newfound love.

And the sweetest tune ever played
up against the harmony
your love gave
sounds out of tune
and slightly off key...
never to match the enchantment
of the
Love Song
you gave to me!
