The wind is unforgiving On an unprotected sea The seagulls battle the wind In slow motion they seem to be How breathtaking is their gracefulness Such a sight it is to behold As I wrap my arms around me In an effort to ward off the cold In awe I gaze out to the water As the waves come rolling in How I love watching this display of nature Over and over again The seagulls spy a tasty morsel That has washed up on the sand Soon they come from out of nowhere And en masse they come to land Summer is a long time over No one else is here but me So I'll close my eyes and imagine You are sharing this beauty with me How easily I'll reminisce Of the times I've spent with you And know that in my dreams You will always come into view Suetang |

This one brings back many memories of summers spent at the beach at my grandparents cottage. So nice. Thank you! All writing comes |
