Light and Whimsy Virginia Salter as morning began its rise, a lyrical tune floated on the air, of bird song, light and whimsy were elements of its fare day, gloriously bright with sun, wakens the soul of me to write, to sing, to shine neath this azure canopy I, as if a bird a-wing, could soar aloft or rest with lilt and delicacy in a feather-laden nest might you join me in this hour we could dance the day aglow as butterflies or doves with not a woe in tow to sing our heart’s content spread cheer all around lighting up the eyes of those captured by a frown © June 15, 2000 |

you do seem to be able to write of the light and whimsical..*s ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". |

thank you PM, eye and insect I definitely like waking to bird song, especially when it's not the crows auditioning for The Birds |

Somehow the same message got posted twice, so I'll edit this by saying what I had intended to add to the 1st reply to your replies. Tonight, I was serenaded by a horde of crickets when I was out moving the sprinkler. It was a lively sound. [This message has been edited by VAS (edited 06-17-2001).] |

Should we greet each day with this frame of mind, there is no telling what we could accomplish. With the glass half full, I salute your wonderful poetic gift. "I am not now that which I have been." |
