The Squirrel You only seek to Fill your tummy. You have no idea I think your funny. To get to the seed You climb up the pole. Then hang upside down By one toe. You sit on the tray And munch, munch, munch. The ground is covered With shells you crunched. When the feeder I have filled. You call your friends With chatter shrill. You make me laugh. You make me rave. I love to sit And watch you play. There's only one thing I ask of you. Leave some for the birds. They like it too. |
