Traveling Hilltops Virginia Salter out on the hillside grazing cow and calf lazing foxglove, black-eyed Susan in breezes waving butterfly, moth dancing on air bumble and honey playing musical chairs sunlight glinting off leaf and blade of grass slithering garter winding ‘cross the path snow-in-summer waltzing in the wind huddling in little circles gladsome hours I spend dreaming of hillsides hearing summer’s song lifting me above the land carrying me along my heart becomes as light almost leaves my being sated with delight of all my mind is seeing do you have an inkling of what there is in store for one who travels hilltops ‘n’ sings the trav’lers score? © June 19, 2000 |

Thanks, Sunshine and I'm so glad you do. Hillsides like this can certainly make a difference! |
