how can we regret that which we will not dare? if the step is not taken how can we beware? within this lover's heart patient in space and time I wait quietly my dear to read your lover's rhyme should I never say to you that love is what I feel then how will I ever know if my love is yet real time will take it's toll and I will go away silent in my love regretting what I could not say |

A personal and poignant reminder of "Nothing ventured..." Yet spoken from within. Well said. "The Universe owes noone a happy ending." (Roger Zelazny) |

This holds especially true for me unfortunately. I am the youngest of the family and am often treated like bagage. ![]() *+*Would you be known by everybody? Then you know nobody.~ |

This is sweetly written, but oh so heartbreaking. There is no shame in loving--I look at this way--if you want to win the lottery? Buy a ticket. ![]() |

I know this very well, and I too wonder what would happen. But like serenity said, "You can't win if you don't play." Great job here. passion is life. . . ~Diana |

in the quandry of "damned if you, damned if you don't", I have always found that it's the second one that causes the most regret. . . better the first one, because at least you tried great poem. . . -------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

how can we regret that which we will not dare? if the step is not taken how can we beware? ===================== "To be or not to be.......that is the question" We all seem to stand at that point....... "do your best and whatever would come would be for the best" I really enjoyed it..........the flow is beautiful and the thoughts are deep Thank you ******************** It's only me.......only me |

sharon, beautiful poem you have penned here... and it poses that wonderful question to love or not? and its like the old saying goes...it's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all! i'm a firm believer in this. wonderful poem, truly enjoyed it! take care. amy ![]() "A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart & can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words." |

This moved me deeply, and welcome to the forum if I have not done so. You have a good heart and feel pain down where it grips don't you? Look forward to reading more. "This rose has seen red, I have been blue |
