Shores of the Heart Adrift, for many days and nights Searching for life's lantern Cold and harmed, torn apart A thin ray of hope has come The tears still flow and will return Amidst the dreams and frights Until the heart feels real comfort It is near, and yet so far The shores await the day That happiness fronts the bay Then the waves of the heart will ease As the winds of time confront The terrible pain of years gone by Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love |
