Is there nothing left to say? Is there nothing left to do? Will you have it your own way And kill the thing between us two? Will you ever pay the price Of all your selfish crimes: Of never playing nice Of wasting all my time? As the sun is sinking low Turning clouds a crimson red, All you really want to know Are thoughts of vengeance in my head. You can have it your own way, Lie about the things you see, Live your life in shades of grey; And live it without me. *not cathartic, not directed* Alicat 6-10-01 “It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.” Charles Darwin [This message has been edited by Alicat (edited 06-11-2001).] |

Some people can't see the forest for the trees and they love to live their life in the grey. Good poem! |

Written with strength....and possibly a cathartic read for some, nevertheless... |

an emotionally charged read "Build a man a fire, he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life". Terry Pratchett |

Oh those shades of gray.......I have pondered them much lately. You give me much to think about. Not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment. |

I enjoyed this one...reminds me of something sharon once said about some people to choose to live in gray-happy areas...a different style from you! enjoyed! |

Someone once said, "Black is black and white is white but gray is evil." To live in shades of gray is a fitting sentence indeed. Well said, 'cat..... |
