I remember  games of fun
in my younger years
jump rope, hopscotch, kick the can
memories that are so dear

Mother may I and Simon says
hide n seek to name a few
Now that I am all grown up
I play this game with you

It takes on a new meaning
the rules have changed a bit
Your are the man that I love
Tag, You are it!!!!

We use to say “No taggies back”
and quickly run away
but I now stand in front of you
those words I do not say

You  look deep  into my eyes
with a smile upon your face
I question what the grin is for
I’m frozen right in place

With  a sigh I hear you say
“taggies  back” to you
cause you see you silly girl
My Love for you is true.

Young at heart is what we are
both of us honestly admit
As we often remind each other
Tag, you are it!!!!

Thank-you all for your replies. I truly believe that staying young at heart on enhances the joy of love.
Note: I have been really busy with work and do not get here as often as I like. Just wanted you all to know I miss you and how very talented everyone is here. Write on my friends :-)
