She looks longingly out the window As the waves come rolling in How trusting and loyal she'd been Only to find out that he had sinned Driving along the winding road The wind in her hair and the soft top down So happy and so alive did she feel Her face void of a single frown She had arrived at the house unexpectedly Hoping to surprise the love of her life Oh how the tables were about to turn How her heart was to be cut like a knife She surprised them in the heat of passion As they rolled seductively on the bed How she stood at the door in disbelief How much her betrayed heart bled She had run away blinded by tears Not wanting to believe what she'd seen In total horror and disbelief As she now realised where he'd been She has returned to this place so unwillingly To collect her belongings then leave But she'll gaze out this window one last time As she remembers this love as she grieves Suetang |
