I believe the clouds
Are there only for you
And that the sun itself
Is but a reflection of
The light glowing inside
Your beautiful soul.

I believe the moon
during her pale passing
Waxed and waned
with jealously of the
Radiant peacefulness
You have shown to me.

I believe the words
Of poor poets and minstrels
As they compose ode and ballad
Telling but a fraction of the
Wonderful things there are
For understanding is but
A moment’s insight
That glimmers always out
Of reach and always changing

Flying like a butterfly
On wings of silken color
From one flower to the next
Searching for that which is
Sweeter and sustains us.

I believe…
You will
Believe
