~* Apple Blossom Time *~As evening begins to spread its blanket, I venture outside to inhale, and my journey begins. As I sit under a tiara of stars illuminating the heavens, One single apple blossom petal falls every so gently, And lands so softly on my outstretched arm. The smell in the air is of freesia, roses, and fresh cut grass, Announcing the changes of the urgently waiting season. A shaken feather pillow of petals so gently falls, Illuminating the gray abyss surrounding me. In a multitude of sequins; this flickering pink light, Dancing petals pirouette and begin their magic. Promises of the new summer swirl gently from the sky, Bringing with them kisses of renewal and rebirth. Where once was a beautiful flower, Shall emerge a succulent summer fruit. The earth takes me and wraps me in her silent blanket, As I bow my head to her and close my eyes. With supreme honor I now bare witness, To the final curtain call of just one of my many blessings. ~*~ Remember to tell someone today that you love them ~*~ |
