Liquid silver of moonbeam, drifting down the pane,
Sparkling diamonds of spent droplet rain.
Beset with beauty, the sight was so grand
watching the glow creep up my hand
Kissing the palm, as only you used to do
softly and gently, it could only be true.

Gently I reached, touching the pane,
fingertips lightly, holding again.
Moonbeam kissing those fingertips,
as though saying, “I didn’t forget.”
The years had drifted so slowly by,
since you had laid there by my side.

Giving a small whisper of your name,
thoughts tumbling of nature’s game.
The wind softly rustled the leaves outside,
I knew I was hearing a tender goodbye.
Slowly the glow drifted from the pane,
once again it began to rain.

(sad sigh) This poem has a sad ending, but it is so very beautiful! (sigh) I know that feeling all too well where it feels like we're really in love when dreaming, but it disappears when the morning comes. (sigh) May this love truly come to you and may you hold her in the moonlight! (sigh) Very beautiful, dearest Logan! You have such a beautiful heart, dear friend, thank you for sharing!

Oh Logan, this brought tears to my eyes. Such emotion written with such a gentle quietness. A moment captured. I shall save this to read many many times, with a heartfelt sigh......
