in honor of National Friendship Day!

you will know them by their fruits

let the tasting be the judge

the sweetest juice shall be prevailed

and no one could nor should be budged

From the echoed drum of thought

the nagging nag what should be aught..

Every glance a shadow tame

in flicker of a red hot flame.

the words you find within these walls

echo loud to thus proclaim

we are all so very different

and yet we are the same

everything I've ever done

was but perpetuation'd sun

and every lie I ever told

was but the cry of life of old

"survivor I," I'll be instead

even if I bury dead

I'll celebrate their lives again

in the imprint mind of "friend"

between the now and then

lies a life we never knew

shared yet unshared in pasts

memories unknown of you

who thought that minds could be

fathomed as one and yet

someone like you, someone like me

and still we've never met

If you have never written a duet with serenity, I highly recommend it! The lady can write some killer verses!! And so quickly! And as a note here, she also makes a great friend!   (Thanks for listening to my rants!)

It's wonderful,  isn't it... how we can develop such great friendships out of people we've never physically met... Nicely done, ladies...

I bow to you both my wonderful and poetic friends. . . two of the most fascinating women that I have ever met. . . and two poets who constantly inspire me. . .

Serenity and PoetdeVine~
The walls to friendship are often scaled
on thoughtful words of the ladder of verse~
This is a great affirmation of friendships in reaching out to others.
Applauding here ! !

I love the above sentiment, and the whole poem. Great job to you both.

Sharon, Serenity, nice poem. It's always good to see two of Passions' greatest poets working together.

You two have never met? Damnit, organise something and get to it!
