A "Once Upon" Love

And I shall remember, the way we first met.
That day of snow showers, I shan't ever forget.
Not too afraid, but in shyness from eyes,
that scanned into mine, that caused many sighs.
Dessert and conversing, the getting to know,
by dancing of words, allowing to show,
a caring of someone, special to each,
truth in the hiding, for a time out of reach.
A fantasy tale, a myst in the storm,
reigning of words, touches that warm
my heart everlasting, with memories of
a second chance, almost, a "once upon" love.
