She is with the angels now Just where she should be And the only thing that makes me sad Is that I want her here with me But if I were to choose a place I can not think of one better For a person who touched inside Everyone who met her Her time with us was just too short Our grief will last too long And I see inside all your eyes How you wish I could be strong And I will try, but not right now The hurt is much too deep Forgive me if I hide my head And begin to weep How do you say goodbye When every ounce of you says it’s too soon It’s like standing on the edge of the world Trying to touch the moon She is with the angels now Looking down below So here is what I need to say I wish you didn’t go Keep an eye out for us We never will stop missing you You have a special place inside The hearts of all you knew And when the rain falls from the sky As angel tears often do We will look up to heaven And never stop loving you Every day without you here Will be a bit more sad But we are thankful deep inside For every day we had. This was written for my Best Friend to read at her Mom's funeral last year. Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind... |

Oh, this is soooo sad. I can totally relate to it. You have described the feelings so well. That's all I can say right now. Too many tears... All writing comes |

Saddness and beauty woven together to share with those left behind...she sounds like a wonderful person and your friend was surely touched by the sentiments you offered in this wonderful piece~ |

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh, this is such a sad but beautiful tribute to your dearest friend. (big hugggsssss) I know how it must feel to lose a dear friend, because in the ninth grade, when I made my first friend ever in school, he died in an automobile accident up in the mountains after a Fourth of July celebration, and I cried for days and I too wrote a poem declaring my love for him and how it was so soon though I'm also happy for him at the same time because I know he now is free and happy and will enevr forget me. (sigh) Your best friend will never forget you and she will love you forever for her love will always guide you, and her smile will forever reflect in your heart! (big huggssssss) Such a sad but touching tribute that made me cry! You have such a beautiful heart, dear friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

AZBlond~ Very tenderly portrayed. I'm sure your friend appreciated so much. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Thank you all...as anyone who has been near death knows-it is so hard to find any words of comfort. I did all I could to help the Family, and then I went home to write. The saddest moment was when I heard my words read on that day and knew they could only scrape the surface of a family who's hearts were broken. Thank you for allowing me to share! Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind... |
