inspired by yesterday's Sunday message Blessed Are the Poor in Spirit Virginia Salter for they surely seek a foundation one upon which to build their hearts, their lives, their love, a beauty of attitude in what might be how one might see the glory of its presence it lies beneath the turmoil, the waves life brings, in tides, in undertows, in torpedoes of destruction it is as a Nautilus submersed, shielded, powerful, deeply strong and yet... ripples wake, trickles show those who look will surely know your steadfast faith is spiritually based it will endure past gold and myrrh, past clock and voice you’ve made your choice and all will see just who you be though tears do spill that in His will is fast where you’ll remain ©May 20, 2001 |

Amen. Sermon on the mount given to us with His love though undeserving Live for love. Without love, you don't live. [This message has been edited by Interloper (edited 05-21-2001).] |

i'm glad you directed me to this piece...personally, i think this was one of your best pieces i have the opportunity to read so far... while this one is different from your usual original images-packed pieces, somehow i found this soothing and charming.... i liked the phrase "beauty of attitude" a lot and may i ask what is Nautilus ![]() and don't give up writing....i think you might have touched more people than you would realise ![]() [This message has been edited by faterider (edited 05-24-2001).] |

The Nautilus was under Captain Nemo's command in "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" by Jules Verne. It was a submarine, in fact it is a submarine in this century, for real. Well, as far as I know/recall it hasn't been sunk. So happy you enjoyed this one, too, faterider. |

thank you for your explanation...may i add that the reason why i liked this so much is because this reads like a bedtime story a mother might read to her child...very soothing ![]() |
