Soul to Soul

Close together we lie in loves tangled limbs
While our breath is sighing in passions hymns
Soul to soul we are lying as our bodies’ sing
Our blood pulsating and alive with lovers zing
Tracing the lines of enjoyment on your face
My pulse speeds up and my lips join in the race
Not a cessation of delight just a small pause
And now my blood through my veins again roars

Entwined limbs together like a lovers knot
Desire flares once more flames becoming red-hot
Thigh to thigh we lie entangled in love’s heat
Together our pules pounding in primeval beat
Becoming the fire we feed this liquid flame
Shooting into the stars never to return again
No stopping the wonder as it flows ever on
Touching the magic that stays and is not gone

Meshed now in a complicated link of loves meld
Our limbs knitted into a mesh is together held
Breast to breast we breathe our laboured gasp
Our breath so heated the hot air becomes rasp
Like melted honey we become a union of one
Before we united shoot skyward into the sun
Scattering sparks into a million star dreams
To find ourselves again in loves heated themes
