Look out at the far lands are things different there are the spaces inbetween the words different is the air sweeter to the nose or do the people talk in wonderful prose there would i not be lonely there perhaps someone to share my woes on that island across the waters over there far and far away where at night my dream goes touch my soul deeply o distant Abode from here with these denizens of this hole where the loves have died and died and my hopes raised on lies and lies dance over this puddle of a sea to be with thee The very deep did rot: O Christ! |
